Professional Court User Surgery 23rd January 2025
PLA Members are invited to the Professional Court User Surgery to be held at the County Court at Central London, Thomas More Building, Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London, WC2A 2LL on Thursday 23rd January 2025.
They will be offering 45-minute appointments with Ian Byfield (Operations Manager), Maria Liasis-Sanzone (Delivery Manager), Emily Smith (Delivery Manager) and Rajni Nagi (Delivery Manager) where you can bring along specific examples of complaints, issues or concerns that they will aim to resolve before the appointment ends. They also have judges on standby to look at files and consider orders where appropriate.
They will be offering a total of 15 appointments which will be carried out in a quiet part of the court office to enable us to access the court computer system and court files. For these practical reasons the appointment cannot be held in private. The first appointments will be held at 10:00am and the last at 3:00pm.
If you would like to book an appointment please email Jeanette.McCarthy@justice.gov.uk by Thursday 16th January 2025. It would be helpful if you could supply some information to assist with their preparation, e.g. claim number or nature of the concern, as soon as possible. Please note there is a limit of 7 cases our managers can look at in one session. They will also require the name of the person who will be attending.
To assist the Court in making the relevant preparation, they have asked that this form be completed and sent to Ms McCarthy when booking the appointment.
On arrival please report to the Reception Desk on the 3rd floor. One of their team will be there to greet you and escort you to the office.
