Kieran is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution department of Burges Salmon LLP's Edinburgh office, with a particular focus on Real Estate Litigation. Kieran acts in disputes concerning lease obligations including service charge and dilapidations disputes. He has experience appearing in arbitrations, sheriff courts across Scotland and the First-Tier Tribunal (Housing and Property Chamber) and as an instructing solicitor in the Court of Session. He tutors Scots Property Law at the University of Edinburgh and is also the Cases in Brief contributor for the Property Law Bulletin. Kieran has also delivered CPD seminars on termination of leases in Scotland. Kieran was a Committee Member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Property and Land Law Sub-Committee, which responds to consultations concerning changes to the law (2021-2023).
