Blog from PLA South Coast: Seminar by Gatehouse Chambers on Dilapidations, Cladding Issues and Forfeiture Tips

On the 29 September the PLA south coast region hosted a seminar at Paris Smith LLP offices in Southampton. Four leading property Barristers from Gatehouse Chambers travelled down from London to provide a lunchtime property update for local members. John de Waal KC started the seminar by providing a talk on the Building Safety Act 2022. Clare Anslow followed with an update on s.18 Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 and Gemma de Cordova talked us through the latest case law and tips to do with vacant possession.
